Robinson Neidhardt has joined Volunteers of America Chesapeake as director of information systems.
Neidhardt has more than 18 years of experience in information systems leadership and technical expertise within the areas of systems administration, IT policy development and execution, network infrastructure management, website maintenance, hardware/software installation/upgrade and servicing, extensive client/end-user training and help desk management and reporting.
In his new position with Volunteers of America Chesapeake, Neidhardt will oversee all information systems management in support of the 600+ staff of the Lanham-based human-services nonprofit.
Before coming to Volunteers of America Chesapeake, Neidhardt served as director of information technology with ACHIEVE, a human services organization in New York, where he set IT Policy and directed the agency’s IT department including purchasing of hardware/software, implementing security policies, creating data retention protocol, leading IT personnel in bolstering customer service and lowering information systems-related costs.
Neidhardt has a MBA and a bachelor’s degree from American Intercontinental University, along with multiple certifications in information systems and previous work experience and board service in non-profit organizations.
