Clik here to view.Randi Hogan has been named executive director of Playworks Baltimore.
In her new position, Hogan will lead the growth, development and operations for the office. Playworks is a national nonprofit organization that improves school climate, reduces bullying and increases student engagement in school through play and physical activity. It is just completing its eighth year in Baltimore, partnering with 23 schools and serving 10,000 children throughout the school year.
Hogan joins Playworks from Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake where she was director of development. She brings more than 20 years of on-the-ground and executive experience, building recognition and support for nonprofits in the social sector. Previously she was chief development officer with ActionAid, which increased access to quality primary education globally, among other anti-poverty efforts, and vice president of Metropolitan Group, a consulting agency that crafts strategic and creative communication and resource development services for social purpose organizations.
Active in her community, Hogan recently completed Leadership Anne Arundel’s Flagship Program, serves on the Anne Arundel County Commission for Women and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Maryland Chapter.
Hogan is a graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman’s College.
